This Premium Grade AA Tie Guan Yin from Anxi county in Fujian has a unique, almost savory flavor profile. Anxi is a region famous for its tea, especially for its oolongs. This particular Tie Guan Yin is withered for only a short time and lightly fermented, bringing out more floral and sweet tones. Tie Guan Yin is also commonly used as a digestive after meals, so it is very popular for its health benefits.
This Tie Guan Yin is reminiscent of listening to a piece of traditional music. You can taste and feel the history of this tea in the notes and the more you steep it, the more complex it becomes!
We recommend brewing this tea at 90°C for 1-2mins and increasing brew time in succeeding steeps which will bring out its natural floral flavors and a slight but not unpleasant astringency. All our teas can be steeped multiple times, so please enjoy your brew for as long as you want.
