Jin Xuan Oolong is a variety originating from Taiwan, commonly known as Milk Oolong. This Jin Xuan in particular was grown in Anxi, Fujian, and is steamed with milk after roasting to enhance its natural creaminess and smoothness. The milk flavor is thus very strong. This is NOT VEGAN and may cause allergic reactions to those with dairy allergies.
Drinking this sweet tea can be nostalgic, reminding one of drinking warm milk before going to bed in the early years of childhood.
We recommend brewing this tea at 90°C for short steeps (45s - 1min) to avoid strong astringency or bitterness while bringing out its natural floral and malty flavors. All our teas can be steeped multiple times, so please enjoy your brew for as long as you want.
