This oolong comes from Zhong Ping village in Guangdong, and processed like a traditional Dan cong oolong. Despite its name, this tea was not artificially infused with jasmine flowers or oils; rather, it is the natural flavor of this specific varietal enhanced by meticulous processing methods, resulting on only the subtlest jasmine aroma rather than a strong floral scent. With the peach aftertaste in the tip of the tongue accompanied by a creamy, smooth body that coats the mouth, this tea is almost like a pleasant dessert.
With this, drinking this tea reminds one of the feeling of walking along a city lane shouldered on both sides by peach blossoms, petals falling in the spring. What a joy to drink!
We recommend brewing this tea at 90°C for short steeps (45s - 1min) to avoid strong astringency or bitterness while bringing out its natural floral and malty flavors. All our teas can be steeped multiple times, so please enjoy your brew for as long as you want.
