The leaves for this first flush black tea are processed and roasted to bring out the natural fruity flavors of this varietal. With its notes of orange and lychee balanced by the dark chocolate notes, the flavors get more interesting the more you brew it! Its incredibly smooth body makes it perfect for a daily driver. Yixing province is also famous for its Purple Clay Yixing teapots, popular for their heat retention and beautiful color.
Drinking this tea is reminiscent of a jazz club, dark and rich tones playing with bright, energetic music.
We recommend brewing this tea at 90°C for 1-2mins, increasing brew time in succeeding steeps. All our teas can be steeped multiple times, so please enjoy your brew for as long as you want.
