Dong ding oolong is a high-mountain oolong tea famous in Taiwan for its light, smooth texture and sweet florals due to a very light fermentation period. With its complex notes that range from floral to nutty to brown sugar-caramel sweetness in the aftertaste, this tea is a perfect daily drink.
Drinking this tea evokes the mood of a childhood memory, blurred by the rose-tinted glasses of dreamy nostalgia and the warmth of an afternoon sun.
We recommend brewing this tea at 90°C for 1-2mins which will bring out its natural floral flavors and a slight but not unpleasant astringency. Increase brew time in succeeding steeps as per your preference. All our teas can be steeped multiple times, so please enjoy your brew for as long as you want.
