Our Bi Luo Chun is one leaf and one flower bud rolled together into the small snail-like ball that gives it its distinctive name, which translates to "green snail spring". Chinese Bi Luo Chun is one of the most popular green teas in China as its fresh, nutty notes are regarded highly among Chinese tea experts. This Bi Luo Chun specifically comes from the Wangzi mountain in Yunnan province.
This tea is like rolling around a lush mountain in the spring, with a light fog hanging overhead and the peaceful atmosphere of a quiet forest surrounding you.
As a green tea, this must be brewed at lower temperatures (80-85°C) for 1-2mins in order to avoid scalding the delicate leaves which can bring unwanted astringency. All our teas can be steeped multiple times, so please enjoy your brew for as long as you want.
